Arrived very late Thursday due to late start.

Friday:

About 70 playing, HOE, good start, but foreshadowing the entire weekend, I never drew AA or KK. Line of the day, three players in stud on 6th street. High hand is Goldie who checks, next player bets. Tanya raises (showing three clubs). Goldie then says, "I must be drawing dead." He thinks for a moment, then says, "Reraise." Much laughter from all observers. All players call. On 7th street, Goldie bets outs, other call. He then announces that he forgot he had a made flush on 6th street.

Personally, I had no special hands. Never able to sustain anything went out 27th or so.

Usual dinner on Friday night. The final 12 split the pot (~$500 each).

Saturday: NLHE

About 140 playing. Great start. I specially remember about 8 of the first 20 hands were won by KK. I had Chris O'Donnell (The Tick) QQ to 1010 all in pre-flop. He spikes a 10 on a 10, 9, 8. J comes on 4th street for a straight. Suck and resuck. In the end, I couldn't get any callers with good hands, but always got called trying to steal the bluff. In the end, with T1700 and the button, everyone folds to me I push. The BB (1500) called the last T200. We turn, he has KQ, I have 52s. We both flop a pair, but on the river I pull a second deuce for trips. Only delays the inevitable a few hands though and I got out on 23 (pay starts at 18).

Sunday: 8 or Better

Less than 50 playing. I have never had such bad cards. Start with four to a flush and end up with 2 low pairs forcing me to call and piss away chips. Consistently able to finish second. Last had was typical. Jerrod knock me out. He completed with a 6 showing. I've got split 9's with a Q kicker. I reraise, he asked how much to put me all in and we roll over. He shows rolled up sixes.

All in all. I was never rolled up in a stud game, I never had AA or KK. I have AK once, AQ twice (once by the time it got to me it had been bet, raised, reraised all in, then I get to meekly fold). I had QQ about 4 times and nothing else. For being cold-decked, I felt I did very good. Ron showed up for Sat and Sun. Ramblin showed up at least Sat.
